Journey to Justice collaboration with Genesis Sun
Journey to Justice has developed an inspiring collaboration with Genesis Sun*, a charity based in the Black Country. Here we are at the House of Lords in November where the Young Lives, Young Futures research team presented their findings. The project looked at education and employment opportunities available to young people who don’t go to university. We will be providing more details on this exciting project over the coming weeks, so stay in touch for more updates.
In creative workshops, led by Journey to Justice, the young people from Genesis Sun shared their valuable insights and lived experience about their education and employment opportunities. The research findings of the project team, led by Sharon Gewirtz of King’s College London and the Edge Foundation, were presented to the House of Lords in November. JtoJ and the young people from Genesis Sun were there too!
During the workshops, an impressive film was made by Tomasz Wierzbianski expressing the views of the young people. They also created a powerful song, “We Need Change”. This was performed at the House of Lords where the film was shown too. The audience hugely appreciated both!
