JtoJ wins an Activist Museum Award
The Activist Museum Award is given by the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries (RCMG), in the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester. The panel’s letter to us included this feedback. We are delighted and grateful and say huge congratulations to all winners.
“We received a high volume of compelling applications and Journey to Justice’s proposal stood out for the timeliness of its subject and track record of exhibitions that bring activism into museums, as well as a host of other institutions. The panel praised the way in which the aim to deliver a project on economic injustice that speaks to many critical issues of this moment. The application felt “incredibly significant” and the panel were keen to explore with you how museums could become more actively involved… We look forward to working with you.”
