Journey to Justice

National Gathering and AGM October 26th

With many thanks to Bindmans LLC for their generosity in hosting us.

We welcomed members, volunteers and partners from Liverpool, Norfolk, Sheffield, Bristol, Leicester, London and Middlesbrough. The morning was spent developing ideas for our Economic (In)Justice project which was very fruitful indeed. At our AGM in the afternoon we reflected on our achievements and lessons learned over the past year. We said a fond and grateful farewell to trustees Parul Motin and Veena Vasista who have given JtoJ their time and talent for years. Pat Boyer, Madge Dresser, Mark Hutchinson, Terry McGregor and Martin Spaffordwere all re-elected unanimously for another term as trustees. Please see our annual report and accounts 2018-19

Feedback to the question: What did you enjoy most about the morning?

“The opportunity to meet and talk with new and existing colleagues who were like-minded in their desire to work on our project. The clear and careful way in which the meeting was organised. Each step was well thought out and allowed us to move forward.”

“The points shared between everyone of differing backgrounds offered an insight to the bigger picture.”

“The breakout sessions were so informative. Everyone had different experiences and  no-one was afraid to talk of theirs.”
