The purpose of this guide is to help you prepare for and organise a JtoJ exhibition programme in your area. You can access over 30 templates including planning tools, policies, an example budget and adverts for volunteers and local co-ordinators.
To date the exhibition has travelled to Newcastle, Sheffield, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Tower Hamlets, Lambeth, Nottingham, Bristol, Newham, Dorchester and Liverpool and is now Islington, going next to Brent and Leicester with growing interest in Kingston-upon-Thames, Redcar, Stockton, Birmingham, Cambridge, Sussex and Devon.
We consulted members of local JtoJ teams in order to develop the guide so it brings together learning from eight very different communities. We hope it offers practical advice for those setting up new projects and thinking about how to ensure continuation.
We know one size does not fit all and each area creates a programme to suit its priorities within an agreed framework. Members of the national team are always available to advise and support. With special thanks to our Policy Development Volunteer, Verna Chung and everyone who contributed.
